The class of 1972 was special in many ways. We lived in the midst of the ‘sex, drug, and rock and roll’ era. We watched the Vietnam draft expire as we left high school. Apollo 12 to 16 occurred while we were in class, leading to the expression, “If they can send a man to the moon, …….”. China and the United States established diplomatic relations. A new car cost about $3500 (and lots of us drove cars we bought for less than $200). Marijuana was illegal, but we could drink at age 18. And who can forget The Godfather and Dirty Harry at the theater?
And wow, we were YOUNG back then.
Looking forward to seeing everyone – even those who have absolutely no idea who I am; and I regret that I may not remember them – I was a very shy nerd, so awkward with a weird haircut, acne and an embarrassing last name but I lived through it somehow. The paragraph caught the Knight times. Here our graduating year was an election year, yet it was not descriptive. – Apathy was good.
Hey, looking forward to seeing you, too.
Amazing the changes. *I* actually had to approve your post as being appropriate. Who’da thunk?

Even though we arrived late…and it was raining ☔️ ☹️ It was so nice to see some of my old classmates! I’m sorry I missed others who’d already left. What a great job to everyone involved in bringing us all together! I pray everyone got home safe and sound. I gotta say though…I was looking forward to dancing with my husband as well as some old friends tonight. But Mother Nature had a different agenda ☔️☹️
Nice picture of you and Bill, it was great to see you and meet Herm, Sandy!

From the Reunion
I totally enjoyed seeing so many friends and familiar faces. It was a great turnout. Too bad the rain couldn’t have held off a few more hours but it was fun in spite of the rain.
A great big thank you to everyone who made it all possible.
Reunion pics.
Great seeing you again, Smitty, and the Class of ‘72. It was a fun night at the Old Dog!
